"We had heard about this place from our friend, so this June I drove 60 miles down the coast of Nova Scotia to pick up a two pizzas for my wife and myself, the service was friendly and I was glad we had called ahead...since on Friday night the order took a hour. Even after a hr. in my car (under a blanket) the pizzas were still warm when my wife and I open the boxes. These are truly the best pizzas we have ever had in Nova Scotia, while not Chicago or New York style the crust was perfect some where in between the two. The cheese and topping were fresh and very tasty. I would not normally drive for over a hour to pick up a pizza but I am sure glade I did."

"We were in Mahone Bay for the day, and wanted to try somewhere new to eat. We found this place on Google Maps (imagine! Ha! , and with over 300 reviews and above 4.5 we figured it was a safe bet and we were right! It is a small town diner at its finest. If you're looking for fancy things and high prices this isn't the right place for you. But if you like home cooked food, friendly and attentive staff, and delicious coconut cream pie in a completely unassuming spot on the side of the highway Blarney Stone's got you! My husband had the donair burger and didn't say a word the whole time he was eating it (that says a lot . He asked for some hot sauce on the side, and said theirs was so good he literally ate it till the last drop! He got it as a platter which included fries and coleslaw and we ended up bringing over half the fries home it was such a generous portion. I had the chicken burger with onion rings. The burger itself was very delicious! Proper chicken too which I appreciate. I did ask for some wing sauce on the side which was on our bill. I am happy to pay for extras but its always nice to know first if there's a cost associated with it. I can tell they keep their fryer oil clean which is so, so important. Their coconut cream pie easily ranks in my top 5. (I have it everywhere I go so that is a significant compliment, ha! . We will definitely be back hour drive and all."

"We went here for dinner based on a recommendation from our hotel and we were not disappointed. Very nice setting in a beautiful old pub. Service was excellent as was the meal. I had the burger and my wife had the haddock salad. Both servings were very large and we decided to have the strawberry shortcake and it was excellent. It was a large slice of vanilla bean cake with whipped cream and tons of strawberries, lots for two people to finish. Very nice setting with reasonable prices."

"It was years since I was at a dixie lee and was super excited to see that it was in liverpool where we would come to visit. it was not disappointing and was much better than I could imagine. the server was very pleasant....We had delicious mozza sticks and I had a 2 piece snack pack, the huh was perfect with big fries. my fiancée ordered the seafood snack pack, but they made the meal mistaken so that he got it without a price. it had delicious garnel, skalopp and fish with roll, cole Slav and delicious frits. we were filled when we left there, we hope to come back when we are in the opposite in December. what a tasty bite if we had dixie lee where we live!"

"Exemplary service. I had some issues at checkout and got a call out of the blue to fix it. So so so impressed. Next day delivery on a Monday after ordering on a Sunday. The only company I could find offering this. And the flowers are gorgeous with a cute little fake ladybird on one of the leaves. I’m delighted. My friend who I sent the flowers to is delighted. "An interesting restaurant in an out of the way place at the end of the Port Medway road. Very good Grocery but the best part is the restaurant. Although we only stopped for coffee and cake (which was very good) the menu looked excellent and...the musical events they were advertising were very tempting to attend if we had more time. Good atmosphere even though it was quiet when we visited. Would go again for a meal and drinks in the evening."

"This isn't the best pizza I've had, but it's not bad. The donair pizza is quite good. Staff is usually very friendly, despite being busy. Their donairs and subs and good too. Chicken wings are simple but very tasty. Would definitely return."
