We travel from NSW to Brisbane quite regularly and we always make a point of stopping at the Aratula Cafe for coffee and a cake. As a child I always had a passion for Wagon Wheels in the packet and now I get to relive that experience with one of their rich chocolate wagon wheel cakes that are about 1 deep filled with marshmallow and raspberry !! What TheRamblingRon dislikes about Aratula Cafe and Ice Creamery:
The best thing you can do is go to the bakery next door, unless you want ice cream. The produce is bad and the food is flavorless and the coffee is sub par. The only upside is the service staff that greatly exceeded the standard of products that this place supplies. Avoid View all feedback.

We visited on Sunday which was clearly a very busy time. The Woman who served us was very welcoming and friendly. Had a lovely roast sandwich and the chips were pipping hot. The chocolate milkshake was also delicious.
You'd be mad to think this place isn't a real gem. Semi rural cafe with great prices, staff and food? talk about trifecta. Don't come expecting gourmet food though, it's a **** roadside cafe for christ sake
Drove out there several times from Boonah. Worth the trip. Coffee and cakes are excellent. They do really nice ice cream. Good selection of flavours. Dine in or sit on the veranda and watch the world go by.
What a great lil stop to go to and the Bakery good old fashion country Pie full of flavour and lots packed in and finish off with the crispy pastry , our friends and family were happy with all our different flavours chicken mornay, to steak and kidney , etc just fab thanks very much, great friendly staff here too
