We travel from NSW to Brisbane quite regularly and we always make a point of stopping at the Aratula Cafe for coffee and a cake. As a child I always had a passion for Wagon Wheels in the packet and now I get to relive that experience with one of their rich chocolate wagon wheel cakes that are about 1 deep filled with marshmallow and raspberry !! What TheRamblingRon doesn't like about Aratula Cafe and Ice Creamery:
The best thing you can do is go to the bakery next door, unless you want ice cream. The produce is bad and the food is flavorless and the coffee is sub par. The only upside is the service staff that greatly exceeded the standard of products that this place supplies. Avoid View all feedback.
I tried the lamb and rosemary pie at this restaurant and it was hands down the best pie I've ever had. Even though I live about 80 kilometers away from Aratula, I would not hesitate to make the drive just to have another one. I still can't stop thinking about how delicious that pie was.
The pies at this restaurant are outstanding, and the staff is amazing! I highly recommend checking them out.
