What Myron Okuneva doesn't like about Vault 164:
Like alot of steakhouses these days they were amazing and now just average. I loved their global warming cocktail. This time tasted like the bartendar had never made it before and put it in a blender. No fkavor. Had the cobb salad with steak. Asked for medium on steak, it was rare salad was very limp and small. Server seemed distracted and was not able to hold a conversation. Very basic for the price. View all feedback.
Our server, a woman whose name I unfortunately do not remember, was wonderful. Knowledgeable, professional, warm. I ordered the ribeye between medium-rare and medium , hoping I wouldn 't come across as difficult. She smiled and said I know just what you mean, and it came out perfectly. I could go on and on, just take my word, please! All of the other waitstaff were equally great. Good cocktails and dessert, too.
I wanted to try something in the neighborhood and found it to be mediocre overall.
Loves the new seat set in free! the restaurant has made a wonderful task to adapt to this new world in which we all live. the food is and was always super good! one of my favorite restaurants in San mateo:
They can eat inside or outside. the service is great outdoors, and eating is still great. if they care about the distance in these stressful times, reserve a table in free, and ask them to sit on one of the street, they will be far from the people who walk on the pavement.
The Brussels sprout were awesome. Baked Alaska was best I have had!!
