"I never leave reviews, but after my experience it was a must. I have had quite a lot of breakfasts in my time and I tell you what, this unlocked a precious memory. Its like the movie of ratatouille and the old guy who tests/reviews restaurants, as soon as he took that bite he was reminded of his childhood memory and the food was spectacular. The breakfast was incredible and the best I've had, it actually reminded me of a breakfast my parents used to make me as a child. The way it was cooked was spot on and I loved the fact they had a vegetarian option too. The staff was lovely and I was impressed of how kind and helpful they are. I will definitely be returning."

"Mother Kelly’s, Portchester – REVIEW. I have to say I have never had to complain about anything at Mother Kelly’s in all the time I’ve visited for a lovely Fish lunch, but the other day, Wednesday November 29, 2023, I had great cause to complain. Some cheapskate, no pun intended, had decided to change the, what were, lovely fish cakes they used to sell from whatever make to Larry’s fish cakes. Apart from the immediate size difference, they were half the thickness of the usual ones, these were tasteless mush within the not-so-crispy breadcrumb coating…!!! A MASSIVE thumbs down for these and I’d advise against trying them…!"

"Popped in for lunch as respite from shopping till we drop. Prix fixe menu offers pretty good value with range of options. 375ml house wine carafe expensive though. Staff were cheerful and helpful, worth visiting."
