"We recently visited the St. Genis on a Sunday lunchtime with a French friend, who was firstly very impressed with our greeting by the owner who remembered us from previous visits. The food as always was excellent and the service very good.Our French friend chose the buffet for a starter and came back with a plate of grated carrot!! He said this was all he wanted and enjoyed it very much. I had the escargot which were delicious and my husband chose the tartare of courgettes that came with a beautiful Scotch egg. For main course the men opted for the hake with rice and vegetables, and I had a roast duck leg with slices of roast potato and vegetables.For dessert both my husband and I had the Apricot Tiramisu and our friend had the creme brûlée. A very enjoyable meal all round."

"Since the beginning of the Pat'à pizza adventure I have been a customer, I have never been disappointed. Lovely welcome, pizzas so good, not to mention the fajitas are killer! The burgers, fries, in short, everything is very good! My children are always happy after their pizzas or burgers with a little surprise in the children's menus An adorable and commercial boss. "Absolutely wonderful lunch experience with my family in a beautiful quant little restaurant overlooking the boats in the canal. The food was really exceptional from the starters to the main course and the dessert. Fish crumble starter, steak, Moreau sausage and fish mains and tiramisu and crème brûlèe desserts were truly delicious. This is a must stop for anyone coming to Marennes-Hiers-Brouage. The service was excellent and the restaurant is very welcoming and friendly towards children."
