"We went to the off-channels and got a nice table for 2 of a very inviting waitress. the menu is very extensive, much to choose whether it pasta, pizza, huh or fish. the food was amazing, full of taste, generous portions and came hot and in good time. Definitively some of the best Italian cuisine I have ever eaten! salvage to the owners and the staff. will definitely come back when we are in or near barrow."

"We were told about this pub by a friend. Looking at the reviews seem good place. Was busy when we got there about 6:00. Good selection of beers,only 2 serving . Had to wait 45 min for order to come did say it would a wait ,but it was worth waiting for.food hot ,and good size portion's. Had serf and turf and mixed grill . Considering only had 2 chefs in kitchen it must have been hard coping with such a big menu. . I know it's difficult getting staff at the moment ,maybe if the menu is reduced a bit this may save time especially prep time for chefs ."

"Called again on a busy Friday tea time, traditional for a proper English tea! Orders taken when you got inside so freshly cooked and delicious. Can’t get the portions right, a large chips was far too much for two of us! Usually blitz the peas in the microwave fir a bit but we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals."

"A group of family members descended on Abbey Mill Coffee Shop during a walk from the nearby hotel following our sons wedding. Its a lovely little venue in a beautiful location by a brook adjacent to Furnace Abbey. Although the Pastries and Cakes looked tempting,...we were in the market for Ice Creams,Coffees and Milkshakes. Each item freshly made and well received, served with a smile on what was a busy afternoon, with the Sunday joggers and the dog walking fraternity. I would imagine that this place is very popular in the summer months."
