"It was my 50th birthday, so I wanted to order in advance...they couldn't have been more helpful. The food was delivered on time; it was delicious and hot (heat) and all six of us really enjoyed the food. Thank you Kathmandu for the fantastic food and fantastic service."

"Don't want to critise too much as 3 out of 4 of us enjoyed the meal, hence why I have given a 3 marking. Personally though I was very disappointed. The meal was for my 50th birthday (although the restaurant did not know that). I was looking forward to a really good pizza to be told the pizza chef was not in so no pizza that Saturday night. OK it happens but it should have been mentioned when they phoned that morning to confirm the booking. Being vegetarian that left me with 2 options. One I didn't fancy so had pasta with mushrooms, cherry tomato's and olive oil. Pretty tasteless and the oil tasted like it had been used previously to fry seafood. The restaurant has a good reputation but it's not somewhere I would go back to."

"Full marks for location—such an elegant place and could imagine arriving here as a house guest in Edwardian times for a bit of fishin’ and shootin’ though I don’t like either. Really nice airy restaurant with lovely views of the well maintained gardens which you can walk around before or after. Sadly the food doesn’t match the surroundings and greatly overpriced. Also we were unnecessarily asked to remain at the table as they messed about with the bill thinking we were residents and then, as we discovered later, were given the wrong bill though there was little difference in the overall price we calculated. Not very professional really and probably won’t go back though a previous visit the year before was better."

"We have the joys here patterned a few times and will say that the coffee is beautiful and the waffles are amazing. they have a huge selection of ice creams and will create an immense sunscreen for them. our girls have a few items from the menu patterned and milkshakes at £1,95 is a bargain! they have only been open for two weeks, and I can see that glitches are corrected and systems are finely tuned. highly recommend to pay them one visit or two! they support their independent even if it is only for a coffee."
