"Occasion Afternoon Tea with a friend. Warm welcome, and then shown to a table, beautifully set up for our pre booked afternoon tea. Sandwiches were exquisite, followed by delicious scones and jam, followed by a mouth watering selection of bite size desserts washed down with a couple of Kir Royales! Perfect. "As always the service and food was exceptional. I wish we lived closer. Abbie went over and above to ensure our visit was memorable. The food was just what we wanted after a long hard day,even though most of it was not on the menu our needs were more than catered for .The quality and temperature of the food was of the highest standard. This service is something you don’t get at many restaurants. It’s all about the customer and these guys at The Fox Hounds really do care about you and your experience with them.Don’t ever change please. Best ice cream in the world. We hope to visit again in the next few weeks."

"My wife and I have recently moved to Sandbach so decided we would book Sunday lunch at the Bears Head. It exceeded our expectations, the food was absolutely first class and the staff where so friendly and helpful. The pub is very old with a great ambience and atmosphere, we were so impressed that before leaving we booked a table for 2 for lunch on Boxing Day! Also the prices where excellent considering the standard of food. I would recommend the Bears Head."

"Have been here before but not for a while as they cater for dogs and serve dog meals. Stopped off for a meal for us and dogs after a lovely day at the beach. We got our meal but dogs didn’t, so had to chase it up and their meals had not gone through. When the dogs meals eventually came, I was so shocked. Two plastic takeaway containers with about half a dozen pieces of chicken, if that and nothing else. Call that a dog meal!!! They used to come in a dog bowl with meat kibble and vegetables. Absolutely disgusting, and they charge for that. Fortunately, we did not have to pay because of the mix up and the chicken made one of my dogs sick. Never go there again. Gone downhill in my opinion!!"
