"It was my girlfriends birthday and we surprised her with a meal at this restaurant. they instruct you to book a table on their website to which we did. we received the confirmation email to confirm our booking at 8:00PM on the 20th August. After arriving with her and her family, the place was closed. With it being a Sunday evening, finding another restaurant was impossible as everything else was no longer taking any bookings or they had closed the kitchen. Extremely disappointed in this as we received no word or update on their opening hours and they simply wasted our time and ruined my girlfriends birthday. Would not recommend"

"Definitely one of the best takeaways of it's kind around .always consistent with great quality tasting food .I would visit more often if I wasn't the only person in my house hold who loves this kind of food."

"My wife and I called on Tuesday evening the opportunity to eat without booking and we were very pleasantly surprised we sat very comfortable in the winter garden with wonderful views directly over yeadon and guiseley the menu was very good with a lot but not too much to choose. the service was fast and the staff very helpful, without being pushed, our food came in and was well presented and tasty we both had fresh house made steak and merlot cake with hand made fresh cut clobig chips like mama used to make, topped up, although not made with a huge part of to visit soon they are a must to make when we visit all next"

"Our Recent visit to the Award winning Kiplings wasnt good. Arrived at 5.50pm didn't eat a starter until 45 mins later, then the quality was so poor that we took one nibble and laughed, got up and left. Chicken liver were overcooked, looked like they were boiled and coated with a chilli sauce of some type, no marks from a grill or oven. Tasted yuk. Shami kebabs had a been frozen texture, maybe they had, maybe not but the flavour and texture were poor. We left after 1 small nibble e and were asked twice to pay for starters we had left. We refused and offered to pay for what we had eaten, 2 poppadoms and drinks I'll award them worst food in Bradford award 2022"

"Been a few years since we visited but good to see that the standard remains high. Greeted warmly on arrival and offered a choice of two tables, one by the door or one next to the bar, we chose the latter to avoid any unwelcome drafts on a chilly wet evening. Seated and provided with menus, we chose a bottle of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc whilst we perused the list of dishes available as well as what was presented on the specials board. Meals chosen we opted for duck a'l'orange pate and cheesy peppers to be followed by the swordfish from the specials board and sirloin steak. Orders placed it wasn’t too long a wait before the starters were delivered. The pate was two nice slices coated with a lovely orange gel, accompanied by two slices of toasted bread and side salad. I was told it was very good. My peppers, three in total, were nicely crisp and spicy, which came with a side salad and a small chunk of fresh bread which was used to mop the plate. Both dishes were enjoyed very much. Starter plates removed it wasn’t long to wait before the mains arrived. We could have done with a larger gap in between actually as service was slick and very quick, not that we felt rushed but would have been good to have a larger gap between courses. Anyway, both mains were very well presented. The swordfish came smothered in a rich creamy mushroom sauce, some sliced potatoes and spinach. The sauce was very filling and did outface Sue a little, commenting that maybe it would be better served in a separate jug on the side so that you would be free to have as much or as little as required. The fish was cooked well with skin removed which was a bonus as Sue always finds it a bit of fiddle removing it. My steak was also perfectly cooked and just as requested. Accompanied with chunky chips, a small side salad and a pot of tzatziki. I enjoyed it very much. Complimentary Limoncello rounded off a pleasant evening. Overall then a very enjoyable meal, excellent food and very nice warm and friendly hosts. We didn’t exactly rush with the eating and the whole experience was done in just over an hour. As mentioned, we would have preferred a more leisurely experience but maybe that’s just our taste. Certainly nothing to complain about regarding the quality of fayre provided, it was all excellent and enjoyed very much. Visited 10 Feb 2024"
