"Really disappointed. I was excited to try out this place after seeing great reviews and bring my mom. I paid for parking and got out only to find this sign. It just felt like a waste of time and would've been nice to know they weren't open because there was no indication of anything wrong online. Just annoying when you're hungry and excited to try somewhere new on top of it, you know? This could've easily been avoided."

"Can?t recommend this restaurant enough! The thin crust pizza is among the best I?ve ever tasted. (And, trust me, I?ve tasted more than my share). This morning I am still talking about the mussels in the most intensely flavored sauce ever! The bartender/waiter who greeted us was warm and very friendly. Shout out to his Bloody Mary! This isn?t just a ferry stop restaurant. We live an hour away in New Jersey and we can?t wait to return. And, of course kudos to the kitchen!"

"We don’t normally dine on Staten Island; however, we’ve driven past this restaurant on several occasions and have always wanted to try it. So I made a Birthday reservation. Upon arrival, the manager sat a group that came in after us. When he proceeded to seat us, he went past the main dining room, past the extension overlooking the water to (as I recall it) a tented area which was quite cold and very bright. He must have sensed my discomfort, so he walked us back to the main dining area. The service was slow and lackadaisical, to say the least. After ordering our initial drinks upon arrival, the server never asked if we wanted anything else. After dinner (which was delicious) we were “dismissed” and had to request the dessert menu (I did mention this was a birthday. Which is indicated on my reservation and I mentioned it to the manager upon arrival). The table across from us complained that they waited 30 minutes to place their dinner order. If not for the busser, we would not have gotten the 2nd glass of water. I left an 18% gratuity; however, I normally leave 20-22%. This was in response to the service not the quality of the food or the supplemental staff. Hope to try them again (maybe not on a Friday night) as we did enjoy the meal."

"Great dinner at the bar.. A friend and I stopped in to watch the Hockey game the other night and planned to have a drink. A customer at the bar ordered a rack of lamb dinner and the aroma drifted towards our table. We decided to have a look at the menu and quickly ordered this dish for ourselves. The meal was generous enough to share. We each had 4 baby lamb chops and shared the sides of fresh string beans wrapped in bacon and mashed potatoes. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the spicy mustard sauce added a nice kick. The dish was served by friendly staff. Two thumbs up!"
