"What an unexpected jewel... I stopped after a Black Friday shopping with my girlfriend. We were hungry, Hangry border, and only accidentally hit Google Maps for something nearby. Drive, you're sceptical. It does not get the traffic it deserves, and therefore the parking space is empty. The turtle looks completely new, and the building has just painted, but it still feels dipping. But as soon as you go in you are impressed by the decor and atmosphere (in really disappointed I do not visit before-Relockdown, as it looked like a great place to sit down and enjoy. Your menu is simple, but covers what most people want. I have the Jalapeño burgers and onion rings, my friend has the Speck Cheeseburger. Both were smokey and tasteful, with the bacon from the bacon burger, and the Jalapeños do the same on my burger. The Jalapeño Burger was not spicy, and my friend, who is very spicy, could eat it without problems. The onion rings were also very delicious. The frits were perfectly cooked, but ready to salt them a bit. We suspected that they sent a little on and then with you salt packages so that you can bring it to your desired taste because they were hardly salted at all. I recommend this point for a quick bite, and one we can dive again I guess it will be a local hangout."

"The hot lobster rolls are always delicious! The seasonal Hot Apple Cider was $4.00 which is a little pricy and it wasn't very sweet. I knocked off a star because they only offer outdoor seating not all of the seating is covered or heated. Only some spots had heating. On the weekends the seating is super full hard to get a spot."

"Great diner in Edmonds. Everything from the food to the service was excellent. Really enjoyed my chicken fried steak and eggs. Pancakes were fantastic as well. I also like how they have a variety of hot sauces to go with the food adds an extra kick to standard diner fare. Highly recommended."

"Cocktails were very well done, the food was very tasty, and the server was very friendly. However, my girlfriend and I both got food poising. We called into the restaurant to let them know, but were quickly dismissed. The staff member who picked up the phone was obviously not interested in hearing our issue, quickly shoeing us off of the phone and not taking our contact info before hanging up. A disappointing experience, and would definitely think twice about going back. UPDATE: The manager reached out and apologized for our experience. She assured to us that she holds the restaurant and staff to a higher standard than what we experienced, and she encouraged us to give Epulo another chance by giving us a generous gift card (a very kind gesture). Although our first experience was subpar, management seems on top of things and is very professional. We will certainly be giving Epulo another try, after which I will update this review again. For the time being, I am updating my rating to 4 stars due to such a positive experience with management."

"I decided to give this place a second chance, which was a huge mistake. I ordered two poke bowls, and they were very pricy for rather small portions of fish and the rice was so clumped up that I gave up on eating it. The rice was so congealed that insteadof having its individual grains it was just one giant chewy pile. I'm genuinely impressed by how bad the rice was. I'm convincedthat fluffing rice like this won't save it, there was a mess up with the water to rice ratio during the cooking process. I'msurprised the cook gave the rice the OK to be sold in bowls, impressive restaurant standards. At least the edamame and wakamewe're good, but I don't think lettuce belongs in a poke bowl. These are just toppings though; I get poke bowls for seasoned rawfish and rice, and these two main components we're ruined. Only thing that prevents me from giving this place 1 star is theinterior design and friendly customer service. Sorry, but I genuinely cannot recommend this place."
