Yatai Izakaya is an intimate local eatery with a casual atmosphere, offering modern Japanese cuisine that emphasizes traditional techniques and the finest locally sourced ingredients from Aberdeenshire. Our small independent restaurant has spent the past decade perfecting our unique take on Japanese dishes, inspired by both Japanese culture and seasonal local ingredients. Please note that due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate buggies at the tables, but we do provide high chairs for your convenience. We welcome well-behaved children under a certain age during lunch and early evening bookings, however, we regret that we cannot accommodate them during later reservation times.
