Jock's Ice Cream Shop, located near the beach, offers a unique selection of fruity flavors that are not your typical exotic choices. While some customers were disappointed with the service and minimum eftpos policy, the ice cream was still described as tasty and the servings were just right. The honey flavor received high praise, while other flavors like hazelnut, honkey donkey, and caramel were deemed average. The coffee ice cream was lauded as the best ever tasted. The peach sorbet and guava sorbet were also mentioned positively. Jock's is known for allowing customers to try flavors before purchasing and offering a smaller size option, making it a great experience for families. Overall, Jock's is considered one of the best ice cream spots in Melbourne, boasting a variety of delicious flavors and crispy cones in a cozy setting.
This place is among the best in Albert Park, within the category of Cafés, and based on the average evaluation of 4.6, it's likely one of the favorite restaurants of its visitors.
What Kate likes about Jock's Ice-Cream:
On Victoria Avenue, you’ll find Jock’s; which has been around for 17 years. It reminds you fondly of the old school with its whimsical interior. There is rather limited seating and around 36 flavours to choose from. All ice cream options are reasonably priced and tasty. Staff are friendly and the stream of customers is constant. Must come again. View all feedback.
What Caesar Kling doesn't like about Jock's Ice-Cream:
We (kids x 2 and dad) travelled 40 mins to visit Jocks and whilst our girls liked the ice cream, it was good, I was a little disappointed with the service when I decided to try it too. There is a $10 minimum on eftpos and I cant recall seeing any signage. I wasn't advised of this until after I ordered. The only option I was given was to buy a water to make up the $10. which i don't agree with that principle. For feed... View all feedback.
