Life is pretty tough for a small business in Wodonga at the moment. The main street (Murray Valley Highway) is undergoing a major refurbishment and the temperatures are stiffling (35-40 deg C). Many small businesses were closing at 2pm due to the heat with people staying in doors and high air conditioning costs. Its important we support businesses now. Combo meal on the window offers chips, until you get inside and you're told that chips are not available but there is garlic potatatoes. The garlic potatoes are pre-cooked and nuked in the microwave, then stuck in a polystyrene container. Needless to say the potatoes are 'boiled' with no crisp or crunch whatsoever.
