We had dinner on the terrace twice. It's along the main road of the village, but very quiet none the less. Chef is Flamish and prepares classic dishes with a slight modern twist. Valentinos is the most fancy restaurant in the centre of Altea la Vella. In general it is a nice place but the food was not quite up to the standard. Chateaubriand was rear, though we had asked for medium plus and it is weird to ask extra money for the sauce, especially in this price range. But lobster salad was outstanding and we would go there for it again. View all feedback.
