Mcalister's Deli - Amarillo

04/02/22 It was my first time to eat here, so I ordered a sandwich I was hoping to remember something my German grandmother used to cook: the Horseradish Roast Beef. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical that it would even taste remote like Gramma's cooking, so I had no high expectations at all. The friendly waitress brought a decent sandwich and put it in front of me. I bite and was pleasantly surprised: the flesh was tender, juicy and tasteful; the bread was soft and fresh; the taste was excellent! The horseradish was only strong enough to be noticed, but not so strong to exaggerate the other flavors a balance that is quite challenging to do with the soil root condition. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was good, and the food was delicious. DISTRIBUTION: HIGHLY RECOMMENDATIONS.

What User doesn't like about Mcalister's Deli:
Broccoli chedder soup was amazing, and warm. My half of sandwhich looked amazing on menu. It in fact was nothing like that. Very little of everything for a 11 sandwhich, in which I ordered extra stuff on I paid for and didnt receive, it's pretty sad. It looks sloppy and made by a 1st grader, no condiments, no pickle, no lemon as ordered, couldn't fix it because I door dashed it to the hospital... I won't be ordering... View all feedback.
