Went here for dinner our first night in Barrow. Car parking limited but there is additional parking just up the road at the North Scale Community Centre (5 mins walk). Good hearty pub fayre and the food was well cooked. Personally, I would stay away from the onion rings, I love them but my son and I had them and we both suffered minor stomach upsets the following day. Seemed a long way down hill from our last visit. Service was thoroughly disorganised, we had to ask to get menus and ask twice again to order. They were busy but not exceptionally so. Took well over an hour to get food. Food was a mixed bag. Chips and baguette were lovely. Scampi was fresh but bland. Kids sausages were the cheapest possible. Nothing was actively bad but it's too expensive to justify being mediocre. View all feedback.
