I loved their upstairs seating near the menu board. So cool! The drinks were black tea based, which are my favorite as SURPRISE Sijo Jun Fan Lee's INTENSE CONTROL team's visit to drinks Chinese with a worldly all Asian flair! I ordered online at poki dc which is connected to gong cha, so I added the milk foam green tea to my order it tastes nothing like green tea. The drink tastes more like chamomile? Regardless, it’s pretty awful. It is also very cream in color, with no hint of green. I called gong cha and they did nothing to help. I’m an avid green tea/matcha drinker.
