A hidden gem with a Hollywood past. The menu of inspired wild game is elevated beyond most North County dinner options. Live music on nights between Thursday to Saturday really compliment the atmosphere here. The staff is attentive and focused. We love coming back. Our favorites are the Elk and Duck. Great mixed drinks and beautiful wines to choose from, as well as a local tap beer here and there. Food: 5 View all feedback.

The restaurant is an old house converted to a “art deco” style “classic’. The seating in the lounge was hot and uncomfortable. The food was sub-par, lacked flavor, and character. The lamb had a nice color and temp, but was a little tougher than it should be, wasn’t gamey at all but not upper level. It was properly cooked but that’s all that really had going for it.
