We had a lovely lunch in the barn. We had coronation chicken and mozzarella and pesto sandwiches. The sandwiches were accompanied by salad and crisps. This is now the Hyacinth Tearoom (was previously in Halstead) Nice staff but a bit slow sometimes. Food ok to good. But the cakes!! You used to be able to get delicious traditional home made cakes here Victoria sandwich, fruit, coffee walnut, Lemon drizzle etc. Now it 's all really gooey 'drip ' cakes.
