A fresh made Portuguese tart is interesting, new, unique and tasty. The first time I tried the tart it was fresh. Crispy edges and warm middle, with a hint of cinnamon sprinkled on top. New prices are $4/ tart (March 2023).I came back 3 days later to get 6 tarts for $20 and it was close to closing and wasn’t fresh anymore. That was no crunchiness, it was just soft. Heard this was an authentic Portuguese spot so wanted to check it out. They don’t let you go in the store due to an ongoing lawsuit which is bizarre but all good. The empanada type pastry was nicely done. They also had another beef pie with a flaky crust which had a different name. I wasn’t too impressed with the place.
