This has been a long time fave of mine. I used to live in this area (I moved about 14 blocks north) and have had many good memories here. It is a classic American bar and restaurant. Never too packed and such a chill place. Great drinks and food and always very friendly service. Back in the day this place was one of the places to go for a newly created hamburger market and I'm glad to report the burger is still good but be cautious…a 16oz draft beer costs $12 which was a big surprise considering I drank 3 — I mean $36 for 3 beers at a “neighborhood joint“....no thanks.
