Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. Food excellent. Service slow, and I had to leave the table to go to the bar to place our order; someone eventually came to take our order some five later. Tables and placemats sticky both need a good wash! Sauce bottles could do with wiping. Having said all that, it is a nice pub with good food. It is just let down somewhat by sloppy attention to hygiene. View all feedback.

Lovely setting and good atmosphere but poor service. We waited 40 mins for sandwiches before requesting a refund. Bar staff said it wasn’t their fault and blamed the kitchen. I have been here on several occasions in the past and had a good experience so assume they were having a bad day or are under new management. View all feedback.
