We were looking for somewhere to break our journey overnight. Just a couple of miles off of the M1 we had this hotel recommended by another which was full. Although a bit awkward to find we were not disappointed. The building is an old railway station and still maintains that character. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Not too bad room 2 had an awful smell did complain however the only room left was a twin. Left the windows open. Shower was leaking. So we think the water was the cause of the smell. Needs to be looked at. No toilet paper in the room. However bed was comfy and clean. Needs updating. Sorry not a good experience. View all feedback.
