The establishment next door recommended this restaurant for it's Cajun food. I was very impressed as it was my first impression. I was thinking this restaurant would be a casual sitdown place but it is actually a nice restaurant. They have a great menu and the staff is very friendly. I sat outside on their large patio. What User doesn't like about Mudbugs A Cajun Joint:
3 and almost a half stars. I'll list my pet peeves first. Wobbly tables. All of them. Fix them. They significantly detract from the dining experience. Broken and/or dirty service wear. Throw it away. Brunch with a group. Probably a good idea to make a reservation. Table was ready when we arrived. Service is a little slow. Cocktails are well made and reasonably priced. Food is good (not great). Friends recommended the Brussels sprouts seemed to be more bell pepper than sprouts not bad but disappointing. Someone in the back needs to learn how to poach eggs. Desert was awesome key lime pie and crème brûlée.
