The Victorian warehouse space, once a derelict mechanic's workshop, has been sensitively restored and opened to glowing reviews in February 2003 by architects Squire and Partners. Serving breakfast, lunch, tapas, and drinks Monday through Friday from 8am to 11pm, it has become a regular haunt for locals and a destination for visitors. Live music events are hosted every month, local DJs play on Friday evenings, and outdoor seating is available in good weather. The venue is also available for private hire on Saturdays.
The average evaluation of 3.5 shows that 06 St Chad's Place so far has satisfied the majority of its visitors.
