We soon found out why this place was almost empty every night. They had two big dining rooms and couldn't fill one of them, while other establishments in the village were full. The food, when it came, was greasy and a bit dull. Old granny (mother of the proprietor? was sitting at a table next to us reading; there wasn't anyone else eating in there when we visited.
