The Motel Coffee Shop in Carmi has been there for a long time. The motel behind the coffee shop doesn't really do much business, if any, it's about rundown. They've been there for a long time. The coffee shop itself is pretty much a greasy spoon, but a good one. My friend and I went for breakfast, we both had eggs, bacon, and potatoes. My eggs were cooked to perfection. What User doesn't like about Coffee Shop:
I hate to give just one star review but the breakfast we had was the worse we have ever had. It was cold, my scrambled eggs had slimmy uncooked egg whites laying on them. My husband who never complains about breakfast said I don't know how you screw up a breakfast but they sure did. Im hoping our waitress was just having a bad day cause she was not very friendly.
