I like this place because it is just like the family restaurants of my youth: unpretentious, medium-to-lower eating served simply and quickly. many fried options and some baked/baked. the baked steak is classic west virginia, crispy meat cut rolled in flour and braided until it melts the dish. the rolls are fresh, but the vegetables are skillful. not a fine culinary experience, but a solid retro choice.
