The Rookery is a Ukrainian village restaurant that offers a tranquil atmosphere, although some guests found the culinary experience disappointing, feeling overcharged and underwhelmed by the food. However, the truffle fries received high praise. The service was noted to be friendly, but the food quality was inconsistent, with some items being excellent while others fell short. The ambiance was commended for its fancy yet Big Lebowski theme. Some guests enjoyed the Sunday brunch and found the hostess to be incredibly nice despite having noisy children. The Rookery offers a variety of cocktails, with some customers having mixed experiences in terms of service and food quality. The pop-up bar 'The Dude's Abode' was well-received for its creative decorations. The restaurant seems to have potential with some standout dishes, although there are areas that require improvement and better consistency.

What Ismael Littel likes about The Rookery:
Got together with a group of girlfriends to eat dinner at The Rookery and then go to the Fleetwood Mac pop up upstairs. We loved it! The food was great and the outdoor seating area was fantastic. I was surprised it wasn't packed. We really liked the bird-themed decor as well. The Fleetwood Mac pop up was wonderful and just what I needed. Will definitely be going back! View all feedback.
What Sara Vinciguerra doesn't like about The Rookery:
The patio at Rookery is awesome! Large and comfortable and good for groups if you get there early. The food is good, not great but tasty. The service was slow, confused, cumbersome. We had to ask multiple times for coffee refills and our waitress clearly had too many tables it looked like she was trying to man both the inside and outside so was not able to provide anything close to service.
