Shoryu Ramen, from the creators of Japan Centre, offers authentic Hakata tonkotsu ramen from the Hakata district of Fukuoka city, Japan. Our Executive Chef, Kanji Furukawa, born and raised in Hakata, has specially crafted a recipe for our rich, white pork soup and thin, straight ramen noodles. Recently recommended in the Michelin Guide 2014, Shoryu Ramen is dedicated to bringing the UK a taste of genuine tonkotsu rarely found outside of Japan. Owned by Tak Tokumine, a native of Fukuoka city, Shoryu Ramen is passionate about championing their hometown's local speciality.

As a fairly recent ramen convert, this restaurant is good for all. We had differing tastes and dietary requirements that were all met with ease and everyone agreed that the food was very tasty. The location is also good and has a great ambience as there is plenty around it. View all feedback.

I had lunch here and ordered the express lunch menu with came with a pork bun, tonkotsu ramen and coffee. The pork bun was a little too cold for my liking and pork was fatty. Coffee was also lukewarm, ramen was ok. A place for a quick lunch. View all feedback.
