Eleven of us went for a family dinner and were disappointed with below-average food quality and slow service. Dim sum is expensive with limited selections. However, set menus offer good value with dishes like Peking duck and Empress Chicken standing out. Neptune offers delicious dishes like hot and sour soup and BBQ pork with friendly service. Located near the Hard Rock Casino, the restaurant has beautiful decor and excellent service. Noodle dishes are great, portion sizes are good for lunch, but the restaurant is not too busy. Overall, Neptune is a worthwhile dining option in Coquitlam.
