What User likes about The Old Boat House:
We wanted an afternoon tea and so glad that we came across this cafe. It has lovely views of the river and across to West Looe and we found a cosy corner with a comfy leather sofa. Our tea comprised a choice of sandwiches (we chose cheese and tuna), scones, muffins and brownies washed down with a large pot of Earl Grey. It is a non- pretentious afternoon tea but was generous, fresh and hit the spot for what we wanted... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Old Boat House:
2 of us visited this place the other day. When the hot drinks turned up there was no sugar with them,so i popped in to get some.I was told that they did not have any and was offered sweetners, not may choice of thing to put into...a drink. The person told me that i would have been told that there was no sugar when ordering (Not true) The member of staff did offer me a refund (Which i declined) But tried to get my point across about a cafe with no sugar. Another member of staff then come over/with attitude and told me to get out of the cafe as she did not like my attitude. With an attitude like the member of staff had i can see why you are nowhere near No1 on the list.
