Were out for a Sat arvo drive from Hobart, with my wife. We came across the entrance to the vineyard, and restaurant. Down the entrance drive to a large canopy, with a rustic style kithchen. Well looks can be deceiving. Perfect outlook out into the vines. The menu was basic, but the food was excellent. Hopefully the chef can do a deal with the family, & be back there in November. Had lunch here recently when staying in Bicheno. We were there with kids and two of us were vegetarians. There were not really any decent options. One of us had a goats cheese tart that was just two pastry cases stuffed with a LOT of goats cheese and topped with pickled walnuts or sun dried tomatoes. The friendly staff serve you directly at your table, and you can park your car in the restaurant's own parking lot.
