the vibe was everything! definitiw found out new place for live music. we had the stuffed jalapeños and they were delicious. we also had the louis, and cajun pasta and they were not bad. we ordered a few different drinks and they were not definitiw with the alcohol stingy. Over priced. Long waits. When we went, only one kitchen was working and they had only a portion of the menu available. After waiting an hour for our food, I was excited because it looked so good. I ordered the etoufee and was quite disappointed in it because it tasted more like tomato paste than anything else. There was a nice portion of crawfish in it, though. My friend got the Cajun wings. I really wanted some food from home, and this restaurant was really good, the gumbo , jambalaya...
It's laid back. Live bands. Not as ghetto as the rest of deep ellum. I'll visit again.
