Battered chips tasted lovely, but friend's plain chips were very greasy. I have tasted them before and they are usually very nice. When chips are carrying too much grease it makes me wonder if they are either refried, left in oil too long, oil was not hot enough when they were frying or, they are the chips that were on the drip tray.
