I stopped in at Chic's Restaurant in Ellington. It's near the Vernon town line. I had a breakfast of bacon and eggs, hash browns and rye toast. Everything was nicely prepared from scratch and the potatoes were fresh cut and very good, not from a package. Although the rye toast wasn't prepared on premises, it was excellent. I usually love these little mom and pop spots but not this one.Only 2 people in the restaurant so I should have known.Coffee came with breakfast,tiny 4 ounce cup of coffee,burnt potatoes badly).The lady that served us was extremely rude,never said anything,not even thank you or your welcome when I repeatedly said thank you..super aweful View all feedback.
