Cafe Jax is a small locally owned cafe in downtown Eurika. There are not too many of these American traditions left today. The wait staff is very professional and they work well together. My wife had the soft taco and I had the enchiladas. They both made a nice presentation on the plate. They also provided homemade chips and salsa. What Jeff doesn't like about Cafe Jax:
I had been wanting to eat here for a very long time. Finally got the chance and wished I hadn't. There was a Reuben on the menu and I always order one when I am at a new place. It was piled high with meat and looked really good. The salad was good and the dressing was delicious. But then I took a bite of my Reuben. It was so hot it was steaming.
