Traveling through NJ for work and came across this gem while looking for the best Soulfood in town. Safe to say we found it….. started with cornbread it is legit the best cornbread I have ever eaten. Perfect crust, fluffy on the inside. We had Fried Salmon, Fried Lambchops, Macaroni and Cheese and Cabbage. This place is a gem. Everything was delicious. We ate inside, customer service was great. We weren’t sure what we wanted when we first got there and asked to look at the menu. Then we decided to sit down to eat. Then this waitress comes over and doesn’t even greet us, but instead says something to the extent, “I’m assuming you guys know what you want being that you were standing there, looking at the menu for so long” .
