Borealis Bistro offers a unique dining experience where students gain real-world restaurant experience. Located in James T. Hutchison High School and operated by the UAF Culinary Arts Hospitality Program, Borealis Bistro serves a Prix Fixe Menu for $15, including a choice of soup or salad, entree, and a beverage. Appetizers and desserts are available for an additional fee. Reservations are required and can be made two weeks in advance by texting Friday through Wednesday.

Overall a wonderful experience. The food was very good. Our server was good...my suggestion would be for the servers to be more familiar with what the food items are...our server wasn't sure what the chicken dish was, but she was familiar with the other items.
