We had a nice meal at this restaurant. Service was friendly. I wanted to try piri-piri chicken which the Algarve is famous for, but I got grilled chicken which wasn’t special or piri-piri. (I later discovered that there’s some general confusion online over the translation of ‘frango assado’; the English menu should call it ‘Grilled chicken’ not ‘Piri-Piri chicken’. it looks nice, but flatters to fool compared to competitors. the staff was pleased to ignore customers and jokes and chat themselves. it was not busy and it took a while to produce a menu, and we saw that two others had to eat outside to get drinks.
