I visited Alresford and was in search of a public restroom when I met a worker outside the tearoom. She kindly invited me to use their facilities. Wanting to acknowledge their friendliness, I ordered a pot of tea which came with a jug of additional hot water, a jug of milk, and a beautiful teacup and saucer.
