What User likes about The Happy Baker Market & Cafe:
Not sure whether I have the correct Happy Baker, but the one we visited was on Dundonald at Smythe. People need to forget about the cookie cutter franchises. And frequent local bakeries and diners such as the Happy Baker. Great fresh rolls, baked items, soup, ice cream. Very friendly, helpful sevice. I had tomato, lettuce and Brie on a roll with carmelized onions, very yummy.. They also have breakfast too. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Happy Baker Market & Cafe:
Not sure who it is now, but when I stopped by the happy baker last summer I found the offerings to be just ok. I think my issue is that it had a commercial feel, which is counter to my recent experience with European bakeries. Like I said, it's been a while so you may want to give it a shot yourself.
