I ordered Madras chicken curry and it was basically sambar with lots of brocoli and chicken pieces in it..! In south India if you put chicken pieces in sambar people will be offended As someone who lived in Madras (Chennai) for few years I can safely say that the dish has nothing to do with chicken curry in Madras.
