An excellent place to come for coffee and cake, or for a plate of eggs on toast, or a sausage roll or sandwich.The coffee is outstanding, and virtually all the cakes are gluten-free, many of them also lactose-free. I bought a brie, ham and cranberry sandwich as a take out. I was charged £6.60. When I got home and thought about it I realised that was an awful lot for an average sandwich. We have plenty more cafes in Lee and I know at least one of them charges nearly half price for and take out sandwich, plus if you opt out of the side salad and coleslaw its even less.
