What Pamela Von Tress likes about The Wharf:
1st time here. This place has a romantic feel to it. Beautiful on the inside with soft jazz music playing. The street in front is closed off, so all the restaurants have tables outside with live music. We ate inside. We shared a cesar salad. I had the crab cakes for my entrée and my husband had the peppercorn roasted chicken. We both liked our meals. I had the peach sangria to drink, and my husband had the pear Martini and a black bullet whiskey Manhattan. He loved his drinks. For dessert, we shared the oatmeal pie.
What Bob's Stomach doesn't like about The Wharf:
WAY overbooked. Had to wait 45+ minutes past our reservation time to get a table. Service was good after that but the mood was already ruined. Had the NY strip steak that was mediocre a bit tough and not much flavor without salt and pepper. Side of asparagus was also tough very thick stalks. Not worth the with the wait and food quality. This place is quaint and has a great atmosphere. The food was good and service was too!
