A lovely spot to have lunch. The cafe was busy on arrival but very friendly and our dog was welcome in the front part of the cafe. Our meals were lasagne and chips and the chicken strips with coleslaw and chips. Great portions (too big for me to finish). Quick and friendly service, and good value for money. A group of three of us got off the train here for lunch before walking back to the Oakley Arms. Two had coffee/cakes which were served over the counter. I foolishly ordered a bowl of soup which took ages to arrive and, to be honest, was a bit tasteless. Worth going back I think, but only for a hot drink and a cake. View all feedback.
