The staff are lovely here and they were very welcoming. The choice of food is amazing. I chose the ploughman’s lunch with ham and it wasn’t my best ever decision. There was some tasty cheese, ham, coleslaw and pickled onions with some pickle. There was also a thin and flaccid slice of bread. Most of the other food was green leaves and peppers. Unfortunately. Bad experience. 1. Breakfast.was Cold.! 2. My scrabbled egg on. Toast. Had to send back. In the butter. It Had cheese in it. The staff hadn’t. Cleaned the knife. Could have been so so dangerous. The cafe as gone down hill !tables. Not cleaned either. Plus it wasn’t busy. My point is. Cooks require. To be more carful. Could have been a Dangerous. Situation.
