Popped in here for a quick drink after arriving by train, as it started to rain. It was quiet, infact we were the only ones in, but it was just after 12.00, Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and friendly staff, the owner had just taken over the day before, but still had time to chat to us. He even phoned for a taxi for us into Thirsk. All the best in your new venture. View all feedback.

The rooms are a bit tired but the staff are friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the shower was ok. Walls are very thin and you can hear the people next door. There is a railway line at the back of the property but it doesn't really impact. Note there is no food on Monday and Tuesday evening and they don't do breakfast. View all feedback.
