The staff here were lovely and very happy to let us practice our (terrible) German pronunciation, as well as speaking to us in perfect English. The food was really fresh and tasty. They have a very small menu just a handful of items with a specials board which changes regularly. spending 2 days in the HOTEL BASELER HOF I had to eat breakfast and dinner at the Kleinhuis. Very disappointing for beeing decorated with 4 stars!!! the kitchen was not able to prepare a good vegan menue (spaghetti with tomatoe souce is NOT what I expected! but the price was good for 4 stars!!
